Match-Ups Matter Return!

So most of you are familiar with how these work, but I'll give a quick rundown.

This data is used to determine how good defenses are at limited the fantasy points of respective positions. For example, if you look at the QB chart and see that Arizona's average is -2.3, they are a slightly more difficult match-up for a QB than a team with a 5.0 rating, and we'd expect their opponent to score approximately 2.3 points below their average for the season.

This data also uses the strength of schedule the defenses have faced to calculate the accuracy of the averages. For example, most rankings of defenses reward a defense for holding a bad QB to a bad score. If you faced a QB scoring 10 points every week, you'd be highly rating. However, this model would consider holding a QB that averaged 10 points a week to 10 points as an average performance. While holding a QB that is averaging 30 points a week to 20 as a positive.
